Why we love it:
It’s time to sample a soupçon of silly season fun with this WCC Cap Classique three-pack by Villiera. Our feeling is that one of these petite bottles is too little, and four might be pushing it, so this is just right.
The pack includes a brut and brut rosé, as well as Nectar Royale – with each bubbly bringing something different to the party. It’s a great opportunity to taste test them all and decide which you might want in a bigger bottle. And obviously this an excellent idea for sharing or gifting too.
Here’s a little about each option in the pack:
- Brut: This wine has been made in the traditional sparkling-wine process of second fermentation and yeast maturation in the bottle. It’s elegant and fresh with complexity, yeastiness and a fine sparkle.
- Brut rosé: Prettily pink, expect hints of strawberry and yeastiness with a fine mousse and salmon-pink bubbles.
- Nectar Royale: Quality red and white grapes were used to make this demi sec MCC. This is an off-dry fizz, with rich fruit flavours, yeasty complexity and a fresh, fruity acidity.
