What we’re drinking this week: Fryer’s Cove Grenache Cinsault

The Fryer’s Cove Grenache Cinsault is a bright and refreshing red, with wild raspberry notes and a hint of spice – perfect for chilling and enjoying in the late summer sun.

Sundowners, but make them red! We think it’s a marvellous idea, given that the end of summer is on its way (we know, we know, but we had to say it).

Our pick for this week:

Fryer’s Cove Grenache Cinsault

R159.99, Woolworths

Why we love it:

Fryer’s Cove is all West Coast charm – salt air, sea mist and a vineyard that shouldn’t exist but absolutely does. This medium-bodied, lighter-style red wine is bright with wild raspberries, a hint of clove, and just enough depth to keep things interesting. Chill it slightly, pour generously … could it be the perfect red wine for a glass of the good stuff as you wind down for the week? We’d say so.
